In Georgia, our lives are largely powered by non-renewable fossil fuels, such as coal and natural gas. Because of the public health and climate impacts of fossil fuel use, Emory’s 2025 Sustainability Vision focuses on energy efficiency and the increased use of renewable energy to mitigate climate change and improve air quality.

Hello Gardeners! Here is the schedule for this semester's open workdays for Emory's Educational Gardens. We hope to see all of you out there!
Join the Office of Sustainability Initiatives, @volunteeremory, and @emoryecologicalsociety for a service project on the day before Earth Day! We’ll meet in front of the Carlos Museum, then walk behind the museum to Baker Woodlands, where we will remove invasive plants and pick up litter. Wear close-toed shoes and bring your water bottle!
