Emory, in alignment with the IPCC special report, commits to reducing carbon emissions 45% by 2030 and reaching net zero emissions by 2050. Emory will work toward these goals by implementing climate solutions in Emory’s operations, policy, outreach and education, and community engagement work.

In addition to providing delicious and convenient food choices to the Emory community, the market encourages us all to interact with Georgia farmers and small business owners, to expand our knowledge about healthy eating and sustainable production and to establish a relationship with the people who grow our food—an essential component of a healthy, local food system.
