Jeannette: A New Musical

Join the most produced U.S. playwright Lauren Gunderson 03C and Broadway star Ari Afsar for a 20-minute virtual performance of their musical JEANNETTE on Tuesday, September 29 at 7 p.m. EST and a post-show discussion, moderated by Chair and Senior Lecturer Theater Studies Lisa Paulsen. Viewers will experience the true story of Jeannette Rankin, women’s suffrage, and the fight for voting rights for all, while aligning these stories of change with each candidate’s story.
