Symposium on Biological Diversity

The mission of the Emory University Symposium on Biological Diversity is to celebrate and promote knowledge of the rich diversity of species and ecosystems at Emory and beyond. The Symposium fosters diverse and interdisciplinary perspectives on nature and the environment by centering Traditional Ways of Knowing and research in the humanities and social sciences alongside Western science while inspiring environmental stewardship across disciplines.
The Emory Biodiversity Symposium will take place April 8th-9th, 2022 on Emory University’s Druid Hills campus. The conference is currently planned to take place in a hybrid format, with some in-person and virtual speakers. There will also be in-person walks, a research session, and a BioBlitz.
