Emory has the potential to be a national and international leader in sustainability. Emory ranks among the top campuses in America in square feet certified by the U.S. Green Building Council under its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. Emory boasts one of the longest-running faculty development programs in sustainability, the Piedmont Project, which has more than 130 faculty participants.
Support for Emory's sustainability initiatives will help continue innovation in sustainable practices in teaching, research, facilities, and operations.
